Who we are
Startuprad.io is "The Authority on German Startups" and a need-to-know source for startups and investors interested in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We offer startup news, analysis, events, and resources in English to reach the global startup ecosystem. The podcast was founded in 2014 by consultant and entrepreneur Jörn “Joe” Menninger. In May 2015, Christian “Chris” Fahrenbach joined the team of startup enthusiasts. We added Johanna Joch, as the lead of our female entrepreneurship track in 2021. If you are interested in startups, Europe, and especially Germany are places you can not miss.
As of January 2023, we scored in podcast charts on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Sticher, and Chartable across 65+ countries. Our podcast ranked on Apple Podcasts in 2022 as a Top 20 Entrepreneurship Podcast (All Countries) and a Top 100 Business Podcast (All Countries). We were also ranked by Chartable as a Global Top 60 Science Podcast, Top 110 Tech Podcast, and Top 400 Business Podcast. Listen Notes ranks us as a global top 0,5% podcast.
